Terms of Use

The Terms of Use governs the use of the website https://japanesmarket.com/ and the Personal Account and defines the legal relationship between the administration of the JPMarket service (the “Service Provider”) and an individual (the “User”).

1. Status of the Terms and Registration

1.1. Registration on the Website or use of its interactive features constitutes the User’s full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this Agreement.

1.2. The Service Provider grants the User access to an interface for placing orders for products from the catalogue, as well as to the dedicated “Purchase Requests” section for submitting links to third-party Japanese online stores.

2. Rules for Using the Personal Account

2.1. The User agrees not to disclose their login credentials (username and password) for accessing the Personal Account on https://japanesmarket.com/ to any third party.

2.2. All activity carried out through the User’s Personal Account is deemed to have been performed personally by the User.

2.3. The Service Provider is a purchasing and shipping agent, therefore does not sell or purchase prohibited items, weapons, tobacco products, or medications.

2.4. The Service Provider conducts mandatory internal inspection and warehouse control of all products received at the warehouse in Japan to verify strict compliance with the order specifications and the absence of visible manufacturing defects.

3. Financial Transactions and Cancellations

3.1. The User pays for the products and international delivery through secure payment gateways integrated into the Website.

3.2. If a paid order is canceled at the User’s request before it is dispatched from the warehouse in Japan (subject to the supplier’s technical approval), the User may choose one of the following refund options:

3.2.1. Credit to the internal balance in the Personal Account — credited in the full amount paid, with no deductions.

3.2.2. Refund to the original bank card — processed minus the actual bank fee charged for the refund transaction.

3.3. If a paid product ordered from the catalogue or through an external link becomes unavailable from the Japanese supplier or is discontinued, the order will be canceled and the funds will be refunded to the User in full (100%) to their bank card or internal balance.

4. Restrictions Risks and Limitation of Liability

4.1. When arranging delivery managers conduct a preliminary review of external links submitted through the “Purchase Requests” section to identify applicable shipping restrictions.

4.2. This review is provided for informational purposes only. The Service cannot guarantee that customs regulations will not change unexpectedly before or at the time the shipment crosses the border. The User bears full responsibility for complying with the requirements of the destination country and for any associated risks.
